Current Job Opportunities

  • Our new Montessori school is seeking a qualified AMI Guide for Casa level, to join our team and create a stimulating learning experience for children ages 3-6, starting September 2024.

    In this role, you will:

    - Foster a love of learning in a child-centered Casa classroom

    - Implement the Montessori curriculum in French or English

    - Guide children in self-discovery through engaging, hands-on activities

    - Collaborate with colleagues to create a warm and inclusive classroom environment

    - Nurture each child's social, emotional, and intellectual development


    Successful candidate will:

    - Possess a Montessori Casa diploma (AMI or MACTE) and ECE (preferred)

    - Valid First Aid

    - Demonstrate a strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and principles

    - Have experience working with children ages 3-6

    - Be a patient, enthusiastic, and creative educator

    - Enjoy fostering a love of language and cultural exploration

    - Must take initiatives

    - Must be able to adapt to the needs of the children and our environment

    Duties and responsibilities:

    - Adhere to AMI Montessori curriculum, philosophies and pedagogy

    - Guide and direct children appropriately

    - Monitoring and assessing student progress and writing reports

    - Plan and maintain a stimulating and clean environment

    - Maintain collaborative relationships with families and colleagues.

  • Our new Montessori school is seeking qualified Casa Classroom Assistants to join our team and create a stimulating learning experience for children ages 3-6, starting September 2024.

    In this role, you will:

    - Support the Lead Teacher in running & maintaining a Montessori environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.

    - Follow the direction of the Lead Teacher on supporting Montessori lessons.

    - Assist in the preparation of classroom materials.

    - Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.

    - Collaborate to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.

    - Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities inclusive of the Montessori curriculum.

    - Model integrity, curiosity, responsibility, creativity and respect for all persons as well as an appreciation of cultural and diversity.

    - Support Lead Teacher with parent-teacher conferences twice each year.

    - Assist in the preparation of external communication to families at regular intervals

    - Ensure the safety and physical well-being of the students at all times.

    Successful candidates have:

    - ECE certification

    - Current First Aid certification

    - Montessori experience prefered
